Of Nettle & Hide is a collective of makers, wellness providers, and educators devoted to sustainable craftsmanship and intentional living. Founded and lovingly owned by Liz and Sam, our work reflects the harmony between healing, handiwork, and the natural world.
Liz brings over a decade of experience in healthcare and a background as a Certified Personal Trainer, blending science, mindfulness, and care to support holistic well-being. Her work is guided by a deep respect for the body’s connection to nature and the belief that wellness is a shared, community-centered journey.
Sam is a Union Ironworker by trade, a craftsman whose skill and precision forge strength and artistry alike. Away from the job site, he finds purpose in hands-on living and craft, where resourcefulness and respect for materials shape his approach to both product design and life.
