Of Nettle & Hide is a collective of makers, wellness providers, and educators devoted to sustainable craftsmanship and intentional living. Founded and lovingly owned by Liz and Sam, our work reflects the harmony between healing, handiwork, and the natural world.

Liz, founder of The Rooted & Renewed Home, is a Navy veteran, healthcare advocate, and certified personal trainer. She blends holistic healing, earth-centered spirituality, and a passion for wellness to create nurturing, organized living spaces. Liz’s mission is to help others reset and renew their homes, believing that a well-rooted environment supports a thriving life.

Sam, founder and craftsman of Ironhead Leather, is a Union Ironworker by trade—a craftsman whose skill and precision forge strength and artistry alike. Away from the job site, he finds purpose in hands-on living and craft, where resourcefulness and respect for materials shape his approach to both product design and life.
